Ayaka has fallen hard for her senior coworker, Hiroko. She's beautiful, capable, and everything Ayaka admires. So naturally, Ayaka does everything she can to get closer—finding excuses to work together, seeking advice, being maybe a little too obvious about her admiration.
Hiroko notices. How could she not?
The problem is, Hiroko is sure Ayaka is straight. Just an enthusiastic subordinate being friendly. There's no way she actually means anything by it. Hiroko knows better than to get her hopes up—she's not out at work, even though she's well-known in the local lesbian community. Professionalism matters. Self-control matters.
But Ayaka keeps getting closer. And Hiroko's self-control keeps getting harder to maintain.
Ayaka is in Love with Hiroko! is a delightful comedy of errors where two women dance around their feelings because neither can imagine the other might feel the same way. It's frustrating, it's funny, and it's achingly relatable for anyone who's ever been too scared to just ask.
Ayaka is in Love with Hiroko! is the office romance where everyone can see what's happening—except the two people who matter most.
