The Distinguished Ditko! Although legendary artist Steve Ditko is widely known for co-creating Spider-Man and Dr. Strange for Marvel Comics and Captain Atom and the Blue Beetle for Charlton Comics, he also let his fervent imagination run wild at DC Comics, where he created the mind-bending Shade, the Changing Man; the surreal Odd Man; the crime-fighting duo Hawk and Dove; and the unpredictable Creeper. Throughout Ditkos prolific tenure at DC, he also contributed short stories to GHOSTS, HOUSE OF MYSTERY, HOUSE OF SECRETS, WEIRD WAR TALES, TOME WARP, THE LEGION OF SUPER-HEROES, ADVENTURE COMICS, and many, many more anthology titles! Never one to repeat himself, Ditkos tales covered various genres. But in each yarn, his distinctive draftsmanship and penchant for the bizarre are apparent.
