Part of the bygone Rising Stars of Manga and the reign of Tokyopop, this is a comfort series to be sure, but also a poignant one. It has things all anime con fans can relate to, even years later, and probably always will in the US. The characters are interesting and you will form bonds with some as you should, and others you will simply be rooting for, or even against. It's a good read by an author that has gone on to create some great works, but this will always be my fav of hers.
