Según un comentario del editor, este proyecto nace del deseo de Isayama (autor original de Ataque a los titanes) de que los gigantes se conviertan en un género tan popular como los zombis dentro del terror. Supuestamente, su sueño de ver a otros autores dándole una vuelta de tuerca al género se cumple en este volumen, lo cual suena prometedor pero está muy alejado de la realidad. A pesar de haber algunos nombres de peso entre los autores invitados, las historias que cuentan no tienen ningún interés y la gran mayoría caen en una parodia absurda. Es un sacacuartos con el título Attack on Titan impreso en portada.

Un libro que recopila a un selecto grupo de los mejores escritores de cómic americano, que se proponen realizar una reinvención de la obra de Isayama. El resultado es interesante y le da una nueva perspectiva.
