Argumento
Prudence and Caution are an unlikely super-team. Rick (Caution) was stolen from Earth along with some ten thousand others as part of an experiment by Plasm’s Lorca. Only he and four others survived, becoming known later as the Warriors of Plasm. As a result of the experiment, Rick gained a measure of super-strength, as well as a symbiotic costume that grants him a certain measure of invulnerability. Still, this one-armed, overweight mechanic seems a far cry from the usual spandex-clad super-hero.
Prudence is hardly a model fit either. Rick discovered her in the heart of the biological world of Plasm and freed her. The denizens of Plasm fear this normal-looking woman as “the Great Destroyer.” Prudence has great strength and fighting ability, but her main power is to absorb a person—thoughts, body and all. Scripted by former Uncanny X-Men writer Chris Claremont, the team-up is a refreshing change from the normal super-powered fare.
