La primera parte de lo que iba a ser el relanzamiento de Tales of the Zombie dentro de la línea Max de Marvel. Tanto esta primera miniserie como su continuación The Zombie: Simon Garth mantienen un nivel gráfico muy alto. La pena es el desarrollo del guión que no acabó de ir a ninguna parte.
