What motivates Anarky, one of the most lethal and distrubing villains in the DCU? He wants to tear down the very fabric of civilization, so that he can start everything over under his own mad philosophical ideas.
After first appearing in DETECTIVE COMICS, Anarky became a cult favorite villain of the 1990s and was featured in two of his own series. He also made multiple appearances in other DC Comics series. While trying to spread his anti-establishment credo, Anarky crosses path with characters from the dark corners of the DCU like The Demon and Darkseid, as well as one of the world's finest superheroes, the Dark Knight himself, Batman!

No sabía que la serie no pasaba en Gotham y pensaba que habría más Batman, pero en fin, al menos es entretenida. Anarky es un personaje "imposible", ya que va en contra de toda la suspensión de la incredulidad que se necesita para creer en Superman, Wonder Woman o Batman; si estos son tan poderosos, ¿cómo es que no resuelven los auténticos problemas del mundo? (corrupción, hambre, guerras...) Esta es la pregunta que se hace Anarky y por ese motivo, contradice a todo el género. Sin embargo, en este tomo, abandona un poco el proselitismo y se hace más súper heroico, una especie de Batman de serie B, o C, que tiene su base de operaciones en Washington DC. En el dibujo tenemos a Norm Breyfogle, que sigue sin ser de mis favoritos pero que con las tintas de Rubinstein y el color de la edición, gana bastante. Por otro lado, DC ha desperdiciado la oportunidad de un auténtico integral del personaje, al no incluir la primera miniserie, como se rumoreó al principio de anunciarse el tomo.
