Más de 600 páginas de cómic honesto y con mayúsculas. Aquí no hay tramas alargadas innecesariamente, de hecho la mayoría de números son historias completas de 18 páginas, los personajes tiene motivaciones y actúan en consecuencia. Todo con mucho sabor pulp y un dibujo súper dinámico y narrativamente perfecto. Cabe destacar también, que cuando Joe Kubert se aleja de las historias cortas, es siempre para adaptar novelas de Burroughs, como en "The Return of Tarzan" o "Tarzan and the Lion Man", esta última, quizás la aventura más disparatada del tomo. La única aventura que no me ha gustado mucho es la de Korak, el hijo de Tarzan, precisamente la única que no está escrita por Kubert.
