Plot

As Matt (Megaton) Scott prepares to undergo the treatment that will either save his life by stabilizing his two hearts or end it, he reflects back to a time when he was a young entitled TV star and he and his mother were kidnapped for ransom in “The Megaton Kid”. Also, a look back at Vanguard’s first date with Roxanne Wells in “The Morning After”. Plus, a Vanguard pin-up by Erik Larsen and Al Gordon featuring the original cover to the unpublished Vanguard #1 from 1987.
