Plot

An old friend, and newly made vampire, asked me to find the vamp that did it. I agreed, and discovered that CADRE was looking too, to recruit the vamp as an assassin. The trail led to Gdeon, brother of the woman I once loved. For her sake, and his, I ended it. Now everybody's at peace except me.

Reprints the first Grimjack adventures, before the ongoing series, originally appeared as backup stories in Starslayer (First, 1983 series) #14 to #16 (March to May 1984).
