Kujou, a gym teacher whose past left her with a dim view of her prospects for love, finds herself pushed by her student Sugimoto into taking her girlfriend-search seriously. On Sugimoto’s advice, Kujou tries a lesbian bar, dating apps, anything…and falls flat every time. Was Kujou’s dejection truly just realism?
