The battles become more legendary, and the foes more fearsome, in this second volume of the prequel to the eponymous hit anime. We delve even further into the mysterious Jo’s past, as she continues to learn about the person she may have previously been.

A dangerous cyborg, who seems to know Jo from a past life, is hot on Jo and Meg’s heels. The enemy is set on destroying both in the name of revenge, which leads to a clash that pushes Jo to her limits.

Interference from strangers marks the beginnings of the team coming together, but can the ‘Jack Of All Trades’ duo suddenly trust the sudden appearance of the potential allies?
