Man, I remember loving this story SO much, probably one of the first times the writing in. Comic really jumped out at me. And now revisiting it, it’s my boi Mark Waid! Awesome. I was actually shocked how many of the take-downs were in this one issue! I feel like “these days” they would have dragged it out way more. Excellent writing, crisp expressive art, cool character moments, just superhero comic book storytelling at its finest.
