Plot

En este tomo termina la etapa de Paul Jenkins. En dos historias de 4 números cada una que realmente están enlazadas por la subtrama de la primera que se convierte en la trama de la segunda, Jenkins ata todos los cabos y deja al personaje listo para que un nuevo guionista explore nuevas posibilidades del personaje. Tiene mérito que Jenkins le dé una vuelta a Constantine pero sin cambiarlo todo para dejarlo como estaba, algo tan habitual. Así, deja al personaje diferente de como lo encontró pero sin lastres. En cuanto al dibujo, creo que a Jenkins le iba mejor el arte de Sean Phillips, pero Warren Pleece también tiene un estilo apropiado y con personalidad. Finalmente, el tomo incluye la última historia de Ennis en Hellblazer. Se trata de un "relleno" de cinco números mucho más gamberro y divertido y menos trascendente que los números que escribió cuando era el guionista de largo recorrido de la serie.
