Green lantern: scary story, it’s amazing that the things these characters get into would be utterly terrifying if it were real, and many would die. Good Kirby es que alien designs.Captain Marvel : heartfelt story with some nice romance style art Deadman : a middling chapter for sure, but still interesting. Again, very dark for an action comics story, something about “borrowing” that “simple” man was very dark and uncomfortable Superman : insane this was the cover. But I will say, this is probably my favorite two page supes story yet in this little run, it was just interesting, also don’t know if I’ve ever seen someone call him the Antichrist. Sheesh.The Secret Six : again, incredibly violent, and also some sexiness? Whew comics in the 80s man.The Phantom Stranger - a nice little stand alone story, great horror EC comics style art. Spooky villain. Good stuff.
