Revisiting quite a Pivotal string of issues about one of my favorite CB characters have just meant a total recall. A bunch of pleasant moments belonging to a Brillant Start by a gifted writer who understood an Icon. In this 1st OB outta 4 (the 5th will only compile related stories involving David on Hulk) Peter shifts some well-known facts regarding our SuperHero: from Monster to DID/Psycho and changed Emerald to Gray. So Bruce Banner switched up too. His brand new perspective is a win-win. Joe Fixit entered Marvel's Finest Works drawn by an array of artists; from classy (Trimpe, Ridgway) to flashy (McFarlane, Keith) and their output still rocks. Influential nowadays (i.e. Ewing's "TIH"), these initial arcs set the tone for the following storylines to come (as the scenery develops into twisted and gripping situations). Decades later, such old-school narrative may be truly slow, but I enjoyed it like a first-timer. PAD shaped a Goliath like no other. Essential. #B💚T👁Digress...(PT.1⃣)
