Casi toda esta parte previa (el rescate de Griffith, los enfrentamientos con los Bakiraka y Wyald) suele quedar sepultada en la memoria frente al elefante en la habitación que es el eclipse. Y tiene sentido, no solo es el momento pivotal de la serie, sino es quizás el mayor momento artístico del manga? Es curioso, si bien se identifican fácilmente sus influencias narrativas (Devilman, Moorcock, Hellraiser, Warhammer) y artisticas (Brueghel, El Bosco, Giger) se me hace difícil reconocer a que cosas influenció. Fullmetal Alchemist tal vez. A lo que voy es que si bien es innegablemente una piedra angular del manga, es irrepetible debido a que solo alguien del genio y locura de Miura puede raspar estas alturas. Ademas de involuntariamente generar años y años de Griffith did nothing wrong.
