My sketchbook drawings, while informing my paintings in various ways, exist as their own entity. Through humor, repetition, and experimentation, they act as portals to my thoughts at specific moments in time. They are artifacts of vulnerability. And while some threads are linear, many are woven into a web of memories that are codified through a personal symbology.
