A little spit, a short wait, and soon you've got the results of your DNA test, and with them a statistical peek into your ancestry. This sort of test is illegal in France, but that doesn't stop the curious from having it done anyway. Besides, it sounds harmless and fun, doesn't it? When a brilliant geneticist's daughter has the tests performed, she learns that it can lead to an upheaval of her world. As she struggles to cope with the results, she also learns of the uses—and misuses—of genetic testing.
