This is actually a great look at black culture and Black History throughout the entire world. Looking at some of the myths, some of the scientific facts, some of the historical figures that have not been given the opportunity to really get credit where credit is due. For me, the stand-out story was finding out that Alexander Dumas, who wrote "The Three musketeers" and "The count of Monte Cristo," is black and that those stories look at the aspects and characteristics of his father's life who was second in command of Napoleon's army. These are the stories that we need to hear and unfortunately history has continually tried to erase our contributions. And I absolutely loved that Milestone took the time to tell us these stories.
