Argumento

A beautiful collection featuring the legendary 1990s Batman comics and Detective comics!

This collection ties together the tales of Batman as he faces off against adversaries like the Queen of Hearts, King Snake and the Ghost Dragons, and the Idiot!

Jumping right in as Batman and Robin earn a spot in Hero World--but the celebration won't last long, once King Snake returns with a deadly vengence. Will the Caped Crusader be able to protect Robin? Or will King Snake finally get his revenge?

Batman heads off to Rio de Janeiro in search of the Queen of Hearts...but the enemy he's about to discover is much more sinister. Will Batman be strong enough to defeat an enemy that aims to eat his mind?

Tomo que para mí va de más a menos. Me gusta la primera historia, "No More Heroes" que entrecruza dos líneas argumentales en un solo número que es un ejemplo de buen guión. El regreso de King Snake en "Shadow Box" no está mal, tiene algunas virtudes evidentes como es por ejemplo el tratamiento del poder del miedo. El Tie-In the "War of the Gods" entretiene y al menos se puede leer de forma independiente y disfrutarlo, lo que es mucho, ya que muchas veces los Tie-In son incomprensibles. La historia de Killer Croc en "Requiem for a Killer" tiene sabor a número pre-crisis, pero no está mal a pesar de ser súper previsible. El tomo termina con "The Idiot Root" un croosover con Detective Comics de 4 números que es un auténtico galimatías. Creo que es la peor historia del tomo y que no le pega a Batman. Seguramente hubiera sido una buena historia para Constantine, por ejemplo.
