Argumento

In the 1990s, Eisner Award-winning writer Paul Dini had a flourishing career writing the hugely popular Batman: The Animated Series and Tiny Toon Adventures. Walking home one evening, he was jumped and viciously beaten within an inch of his life. His recovery process was arduous, hampered by the imagined antics of the villains he was writing for television including The Joker, Harley Quinn and the Penguin. But despite how bleak his circumstances were, or perhaps because of it, Dini also always imagined the Batman at his side during his darkest moments.

Gran historia semi-biografica por parte de uno de los mejores escritores que Batman a tenido, luego de ser marcado por una tragedia, este utiliza su imaginacion y su pasion por el personaje para realizar una introspeccion hacia su vida y hacia si mismo, contado de la unica forma en que Dini sabe: mezclando momentos humoristicos, emotivos, y sumamente elocuentes, por su parte Eduardo Risso logra manejar el arte de una forma casi surrealista pero aterrizada lo suficiente para plasmar la vision de la vida de Dini con algunos asomos a su version de los personajes dentro del mundo del Caballero de la Noche. Una gran novela grafica que recrea una etapa dificil de un escritor que ha proporcionado tanto a una de las propiedades mas famosas de la cultura pop, desde una perspectiva adulta, sincera, y fuertemente creativa.
