The vampire vs. zombie action that launched on Free Comic Book Day continues in this bi-monthly series! The world's population is dwindling by the second, and America's last surviving humans must depend on bloodsuckers to survive. The group is desperate for the "zombie cure" that Matheson insists the legendary vampire scientist Addison Payne is on the verge of cracking, but their hopes are crushed when a surprise ambush puts the compound in chaos and takes the lives of those dearest to them.
