In the real world, college student Karen Kohiruimaki lived an unhappy life, self-conscious about her considerable height. But inside the VR game Gun Gale Online, her avatar is on the shorter side-just the way she likes it-and each new day brings something exciting! One day, she's invited by her in-game acquaintance Pitohui to join the Squad Jam, a team battle tournament, and after some hesitation, she decides to join, forming a team with M, one of Pito's friends. But when M betrays her, leaving her to fight alone, how will she fare against the final team...?
