Read that this was the start of a great arc for Kon. This issue did not dissapoint. Though INCREDIBLY dated Into the early 2000s (tragic) it had a real fun and heart felt wrap up (splendid) fun artistic choices and while it’s not my favorite costume, the first glimpse of it is pretty awesome. Also this issue has a lot of bang for your buck, a ton of dialogue and story and FOUR, count em’ Jim, FOUR splash pages. Unheard of in an era dominated by tang drinking monkeys and scary anti-nicotine art.
