Plot

Snake Creek is a four-panel comic strip by Drew Lerman posted regularly on Instagram. This book collects the first year of comics (June 2018 – June 2019). As Dav and his pint-sized friend, Roy, meander around a tropical ghost town, they ruminate on the meaning of life and language. The pair weather hurricanes, debate the confinement of names, and take on the task of delivering mail when the government gives up.

Drew’s commitment to experimentation and improvisation give the comic a fresh and lively energy. Roy’s mischievous joy, and Dav’s earnest search for a purpose provide a rich soil from which the strip’s antics and philosophies grow.
